چکیده
Longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is one of the largest, most diverse, ecologically and economically important groups in world. In following paper, through a comprehensive synthesis review various sources data, we have described general patterns distribution longhorn on global scale. We found that vast majority Cerambycidae diversity concentrated two hyper–diverse subfamilies: Lamiinae Cerambycinae, which together cover 90.5% all beetles. Nearly 60% fauna distributed within Oriental or Neotropical realms. Although monospecific genera are predominated, taxonomic limited number large, multi–species genera; only first 829 richest encompass three quarters total species. estimated beetle species (34,490) showed good agreement with other studies, figure seems to be far from actual number, since more than 200 new every year recent decade. Most newly–described originate Asia Southern America. The (88.1%) were restricted biogeographic realm. highest endemic can cerambycid Australasian, Ethiopian, Madagascan Moreover, our findings highlight phylogenetic distinctness Cerambycidae. More research involving multigene approach needed resolve urgent issues regarding both higher lower level taxonomy better understand factors influencing diversification cerambycids.

A checklist of longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of Serbia.
A checklist of all taxa of the family Cerambycidae (longhorn beetles) from Serbia is presented. The checklist is based on compilation of data gathered both from authors and available literature published up to now. A total of 265 species and 92 subspecies belonging to 109 genera, 48 tribes, and six subfamilies are recorded for Serbia. However, the presence of 28 species listed in Serbia may be ...
متن کاملTree Diversity Mediates the Distribution of Longhorn Beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in a Changing Tropical Landscape (Southern Yunnan, SW China)
LONGHORN BEETLES (COLEOPTERA Cerambycidae) have been used to identify sites of high biological diversity and conservation value in cultivated landscapes, but were rarely studied in changing landscapes of humid tropics. This study was conducted in a region of southern Yunnan, China, which was dominated by natural rainforest until 30 years ago, but is successively transformed into commercial rubb...
متن کاملNew data on distribution, biology, and ecology of longhorn beetles from the area of west Tajikistan (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae)
New data on distribution, biology, and ecology of some little-known cerambycid species, collected in the western part of Tajikistan, are presented. Arhopalus rusticus (Linnaeus, 1758) is recorded in Tajikistan for the first time. New localities of species considered pests or invasive species such as Aeolesthes sarta (Solsky, 1871) and Xylotrechus stebbingi Gahan, 1906 are also given. The list o...

The Rosaceous longhorn beetle (RLHB), Osphranteria coerulescens Redtenbacher (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is a significant pests of fruit orchard in Iran and it is costly to control it. During an ongoing project on natural enemies of O. coerulescens in Mashhad region, North East of Iran, two isolates of entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) were isolated as natural pathogens on the larvae. The fungal isol...
